What’s Your Mission?
Every music studio knows what they do. That’s easy-teach music. Every studio knows how they do it. But do you know WHY you do it? That’s the essense of a mission statement. What, how, and why. The WHY is the hard part. It’s not so obvious. In this episode, I dig into how to write a mission statement for your music studio.
Why Do You Teach Music?
The real question to ask is what benefit do you hope to bring to kids through music. If you look at some of the world’s top brands their WHY is never about the product. It’s always about the benefit. It’s always about a lofty dream or goal. The essence of your music studio is found in your WHY.

My mission is to inspire people to realize that everyone can connect to Music in their own unique and individual way. I look at my Kwikstep method like a combination lock. As an instructor it’s only when I can dial each number precisely that I can unlock that magical connection. Two phrases on my site illustrate the concept. It’s all about the Inspiration!…not just the information. The other is The Secret is YOU! I work off each student’s positive energy to get the best possible results while having a Blast! I teach Guitar, Bass and Piano.
